Road Picture

This is just cresting the hill at the top of Flanders Rd. I’m always tempted to shout “Hey doodly,” in this area. When I finally slowed down, I saw this four foot long black snake, just basking at the roadside. He didn’t seem to mind posing for this shot.

BFR – Day 6

Picked up a little hitchhiker on the way out of town. Must have been too hot to fly. Little mantis stayed with me until about 5 miles outside of town.

BFR – Day Two

I got an earlier start today. Was going to do 10 miles, since I was a little sore from the previous day, but it turned into 14. Sunny and hot, even early in the morning.

BFR – Day 2

My original goal was to do 5 to 10 miles a day. The beach road was flat, flat, flat; the only resistance I met was the wind coming off the ocean. The first day I ended up doing 20 miles, just because I never get to see this much flat in Connecticut.
